Alison Filutze has an MFA in Creative Writing from Hamline University in Saint Paul, Minnesota, and a BA in English from Salisbury University, where she graduated summa cum laude from the Bellavance Honors Program. She spent an embarrassing amount of time as a child searching for the magic closet that her aunt used to whisk herself away with a—one…two…three…SNAP—I’m off to New York!
