Alison Filutze has an MFA in Creative Writing from Hamline University. She was a 2014 finalist for the Jack Kent Cooke Graduate Arts Awards, and the 2014 graduate student scholarship winner for the SCBWI summer conference. She lives with her three unofficial emotional support furbabies and at least two full bottles of Peppermint Mocha creamer at all times.
